The ProWeB® (Promoting Well Being) model represents a scientific research process that defines an education-oriented organisational model.
This model identifies school as the ideal setting for its application. School should, in fact be recognised not only for its educational purpose but also for its social role.
The model is comprised of several sub-projects that affect sectors at various levels. However all of the sub-projects interact with the child’s world.
ProWeb is a dynamic cycle and not a closed circle; its main objective is to create a personalised course that completely optimises well-being. Due to its great flexibility, this model can help attain the educational targets set by the ministry and by European standards (Skills).
This individual course requires a groundbreaking method and approach that can meet the needs of the present working world and society (Abilities).
Today’s world is in constant transformation. The things our children learn must keep up with the society they live in, despite not knowing what the future holds for us.
That is why the ProWeb model is always searching for the most effective method to help individuals improve their performance academically as well as learning ways to serve their physiological, psychological, social, cultural and spiritual needs.

Bilingualism: “We Are Learners“
Our aim is to introduce a second language in a different context from the native language.
At L.E.A.R.N. we are polyglots. The main second language is English but we also speak Italian sign language, French, Spanish and German in a real European context.
A Cambridge Certification is planned at the end of the second (pre A1 Starters) and fifth year when a A1-A2 level proficiency can be achieved.
Life Skills & Resilience: “Reality-Based Education“
These are the so-called “life skills”, what we prefer to call “psychosocial abilities”. When it comes to learning we strongly believe in an experience-based approach because we learn about life and societal expectations in everyday situations.
Our aim is to teach through realism helping children develop a positive attitude while learning how to overcome obstacles through their own abilities.
All of this requires a method that ProWeb, through L.E.A.R.N. marks as its priority. Our mission is to raise awareness of emotional intelligence in order to reinforce psychosocial factors. After which we draw from theories related to training (teachers/educators) and information (parents, families, population) and its practical application in our laboratories and through our projects.
Computational Thought Process: “Learning through mistakes”
What happens in the world affects the school environment as well but this doesn’t mean that it is always up to date.
We live in an information-based society but the knowledge and awareness of science and computer science is very limited.
As previously mentioned, our school’s aim is to educate our students through realism. Our educational program teaches technologies and how to use them so that they help the students develop a computational and algorithmic way of thinking through coding, tinkering and ‘making’.
Computer literacy helps children become fluent in this particular language and it can also prevent them from developing addictive behaviour. It is important to understand technological subjects in order to reach a digital well-being.
Holistic pedagogy and Montessori: “Learning by exploring”
Our approach to education is based on a holistic method because we believe there is no absolute truth when it comes to teaching models. Education is a process through which the individual’s potential is recognised, not indoctrinated.
Therefore to assure the well-being of our students and their families L.E.A.R.N. wants to comprehensively engage the child during his various stages of development. We believe in applying diverse methods along with Montessori philosophy to the fundamental basic training for our teachers and educators.
